Shopify connection and inventory setup
Connect Shopify securely, grant inventory scopes and map the correct location for stock synchronization.
Required access
The Shopify app needs product, inventory and order access appropriate to the enabled features. Reconnect the store whenever scopes change so Shopify issues a token with the new permissions.
Inventory tracking and locations
Shopify variants must track inventory and be stocked at the selected Shopify location. VentroSync pushes the master quantity to that mapped inventory item and location.
Orders and protected data
Order webhooks may require Shopify protected-customer-data approval. Scheduled order polling can provide a recovery path where webhooks are unavailable.
